Le 30 novembre a eu lieu au gymnase Jean Bullant pour la première fois sur la commune d’Écouen, la 4e journée de championnat de France Interclub de Badminton de Nationale 1.
On November 30th took place for the first time at the Jean Bullant gymnasium in Ecouen, the 4th day of the French National 1 Badminton Interclub Championship.
Notre équipe 1 recevait le club de Rostrenen, l’équipe de « notre » Clément (entraîneur du club) avec qui nous partageons, avant ce match, la deuxième place de notre poule.
Pour cette rencontre, Delphine n’était pas présente car, avec son partenaire de double mixte, Thom Gicquel, elle faisait des étincelles en Inde en ramenant de précieux points dans sa course olympique (Tokyo 2020). De même que Flavie, partie, avant de rentrer dans la vie active, se ressourcer au Laos.
Notre équipe tout de même très compétitive a sorti les crocs pour notre première journée à la maison.
Our team 1 received the club of Rostrenen, the team of « our » Clément (club coach) with whom we share, before this match, second place from our hen.
For this meeting, Delphine was not present because she made sparks in India by bringing back precious points for her Olympic race (Tokyo 2020) with her partner of mixed doubles, Thom Gicquel. Flavie was absent too, as she left to rest in Laos before going back to work.
Our very competitive team still released their fangs for our first day at home.
La victoire n’était pas loin ! En effet, le double dame (Victoria et Lauren) et le simple homme 2 (Samson) se sont soldés par deux défaites pour l’USEE Badminton qui auraient pu basculer de notre côté.
Victory was not far! Indeed, the Women Double (Victoria and Lauren) and the Men Single 2 (Samson) ended in two defeats for the USEE Badminton which could have lean on our side.
Sur les autres matchs, les deux simples dames ont été perdu logiquement. De la même façon, que les autres matchs gagnés par notre équipe.
Les deux équipes finissent donc par un match nul et se partagent les points.
On the other matches, the two Women Singles were logically lost. In the same way, as the other matches were won by our team.
The two teams therefore end in a draw and share the points.
Je tiens à remercier la présence de Philippe Selosse, l’adjoint au maire en charge du sport d’Ecouen d’être passé nous voir et nous supporter. De même que l’USEE pour son implication et aide dans l’organisation de cette journée dans cette salle.

Évidemment, les bénévoles du club pour leur aide et leur encouragement sans failles.
Daniel, le père de Clément et son enthousiasme légendaire dans notre département même si cette fois c’était pour encourager Rostrenen.
Jean Michel, notre speaker de légende et Serge pour l’organisation toujours aux petits oignons. Sans oublier la Guinguette.
Dédicace de cette rencontre à Laetitia pour ce premier match gagné avec nous ! Bravo m’sel. Certain qu’il y en aura d’autres ! Oui oui plein oui 😊
