L’USEE Badminton voyage bien !
En effet, Après un rapide aller-retour pour aller jouer dans les terres du Pays de Loire, à Cholet, où l’accueil est toujours agréable et sympathique, notre équipe a fait le job.
Indeed, after a quick round trip to play in the Pays de Loire in Cholet, where the welcome is always nice and friendly, our team did the job.
Après plus de 4 heures de route, nous arrivons à Cholet pour le compte de la dernière journée de championnat de 2017, avec la ferme intention de rester en tête à l’issue de la 1ère partie de championnat.
Nous avons la joie d’être accompagné de Fabrice Bernabé qui revient de sa convalescence après 6 mois d’arrêt. De plus, Séverine, Cécile et Hervé nous ont accompagné pour nous encourager en terre hostile. L’équipe est cette fois bien au complet, avec tout de même Delphine quelque peu diminuée mais toujours là. Même si Fabrice est avec nous, il ne jouera pas la rencontre.
J’aligne Fabien en Simple Homme et Gregor pour jouer deux doubles.
After more than 4 hours’ drive, we arrive in Cholet on behalf of the last day of the championship of 2017, with the intention to stay ahead after the first part of the championship. We have the pleasure of being accompanied by Fabrice Bernabé, who is recovering from his convalescence after 6 months of stopping. La rencontre débute par le Double Homme et le Double Dame.
Le Double Homme est à sens unique pour Cholet. Les garçons n’ont jamais réussi à rentrer dans le match. Dommage. À côté, le Double Dame est à sens unique pour Ezanville car Cholet fait jouer une joueuse blessée (Edwige), qui jouera à peine 3 points dans son simple dame.
À l’issue de ces deux doubles : 1 partout

S’enchaînent le Simple Homme 1 et le Simple Dame 1. Le simple dame 1 dure 3 minutes et nous apporte un point supplémentaire. En revanche, Tanguy en petite forme et avec des maux de ventre doit puiser dans ses réserves pour aller chercher ce match face un Renaud toujours aussi combatif.
3 à 1 pour nous
Follow the Men’s Single 1 and the Women’s Single 1. The simple women 1 lasts 3 minutes and brings us an extra point. On the other hand, Tanguy in small form and with stomachaches must draw on his reserves to fetch this match against Renaud who is always combative. 3 to 1 for us
Victoria, comme à son habitude, ne laisse pas beaucoup de temps à son adversaire pour prendre un rythme. Sans appel. Victoria facilement gagne son match.
4 à 1 pour l’USEE
Pendant ce temps, Fabien spécialiste du double, entame son Simple Homme. Avec beaucoup de patience, il arrive à contrôler le 1er set et finir par le gagner. Il débute le deuxième set difficilement pour se ressaisir et passer devant, pour gagner ce match avec une autorité qui fait très plaisir à voir.
5 à 1 pour Ezanville

Meanwhile, Fabien, double specialist, begins his Men’s Single. With a lot of patience, he manages to control the first set and finish by winning it. He starts the second set with difficulty but managed to pull himself together and go ahead, to win this match with an authority that is very enjoyable to see. 5 to 1 for USEE
Puis début du Double Mixte 2.
Nouvelle paire pour nous puisque pour la 1ère fois, Grégor et Li Lian jouent ensemble. Sans trop de difficultés, ils maîtrisent leur sujet et remportnt ce match.
6 à 1 pour la team 1
Nous finissons cette rencontre par le Double Mixte 1, sans enjeu, qui voit les Choletais remporter ce match.
L’USEE gagne la rencontre 6 à 2.
Nous restons en tête et nous profitons du faux-pas du V3F, deuxième du championnat, pour prendre 6 points d’avance avant les fêtes !
Je tiens à remercier tout particulièrement Fabrice de nous avoir accompagné et Fabien pour son match de simple sérieux et évidemment nos accompagnateurs.

We remain in the lead and we take advantage of the misstep of the V3F, second in the championship, to take 6 points ahead before the holidays! I want to thank Fabrice especially for having accompanied us and Fabien for his match of simple seriousness and obviously our accompanists.
